| valve float. You are beating the valves into the seats. You'll need a valve job in the worst way and definitely replace any and all valves that look like that. Check your springs spring rate at its install height and see where they come in at. Ensure its within specs. You may have to replace the seats if they have been beaten really bad. Here are some ferrea valves from a customers engine I worked on a while back. Not enough valve spring kills engines.
